Mountain Dew Cake
Mt Dew Cake
1 box lemon cake mix
1/2 cup oil
1 cup mountain dew soda
4 eggs1 package coconut cream instant pudding mix (or lemon pudding mix)
Preheat oven to 325ºF. Grease and flour BUNDT cake pan. Beat together cake mix, oil, Mountain Dew, eggs, and pudding mix. Pour into prepared cake pan. Bake in 325ºF oven for 1 hour.
Pour glaze over cake as soon as it comes out of the oven.
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract (optional)
1/2 teaspoon coconut extract (optional)
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar (granulated or powdered)
1/4 cup mountain dew
Bring extracts, butter, sugar, and Mountain Dew to a boil and heat until glaze coats a spoon.
Allow cake to cool completely before turning upside onto a plate and cutting.
