So what word can you suggest me to use for describing myself as a "woman in total control of herself" :)
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE ! It doesn't help that I have seen women "sticking up for themselves" who seem to be using it as an excuse to be rude and insensitive. Quite frankly, you can be firm and positive without being a bitch.Durward Discussionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15023629504094283860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5530689289539895085.post-2530108066310519892009-04-21T17:47:00.000-07:002009-04-21T17:47:00.000-07:00I can remember when this word was one that you did...I can remember when this word was one that you didn't say under penalty of getting your mouth washed out with soap but now it's a regular old word it seems. There are so many words that used to be taboo when I was a kid that are part of everyday language now and I always have to wonder when it was we turned that corner.

Personally I don't think there's any glory in one saying "I'm a bitch and I'm proud of it" but it sure seems like that is the battle cry of an awful lot of women these days. I guess it just goes to show that we live in a much tougher society than we used to.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05698969349369789642noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5530689289539895085.post-17568986441819214452009-04-21T15:51:00.000-07:002009-04-21T15:51:00.000-07:00Yes, Tammy, our language sure has taken a lot of z...Yes, Tammy, our language sure has taken a lot of zig-zags in word meanings and usage.

I am basically writing about the word as a noun.

Thanks for your comment.carol ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17065648026125158107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5530689289539895085.post-90093168667119565652009-04-21T11:58:00.000-07:002009-04-21T11:58:00.000-07:00How about when someone says that something is BITC...How about when someone says that something is BITCHIN?
